EXPERIENCE
A founder of Thermal Remediation Services, Inc. (TRS), Mr. Dodson is responsible for leading the company's efforts to commercialize the use of subsurface electrical resistance heating technologies for environmental remediation. Mr. Dodson is responsible for managing the company's quality assurance and quality control program. As one of the founders of Current Environmental Solutions, LLC (CES), he helped to launch the company and manage the rapid growth resulting from CES's initial efforts to commercialize electrical resistance heating.
During his 20 years in the environmental industry, Mr. Dodson has managed over 300 projects providing clients with basic and applied research, consulting, site evaluation, and site remediation services. His areas of technical expertise include soil physics, geochemistry, site investigation, and remediation system design.
Mr. Dodson has worked with a wide range of clients. Federal sector clients include the DoE, NRC, EPRI, ACOE, and DOD. He has assisted county and city governments, school districts and port associations. On the private side, he has worked with the major oil companies, Fortune 500 companies, environmental consulting and engineering firms, law firms, PRP committees, and property owners.
He has provided technical and management leadership for environmental engineering, analytical chemistry, geotechnical engineering, and subsurface drilling departments and guided engineers, geologists and remediation technicians in the design, permitting, installation and operation of in situ remediation systems. His direct site remediation experience includes the use of soil vapor extraction, bioventing, air sparging, multi-phase extraction, pneumatic soil fracturing, chemical oxidation, bioremediation, and electrical resistance heating systems.
