TRS China Provides In Situ Thermal Remediation for The People’s Republic of China

TRS Group, Inc. has further expanded global operations through a joint venture named TRS China LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of TRS) with Beijing GeoEnviron Engineering & Technology, Inc. (BGE). The joint venture is named TRS China and within the Peoples Republic of China as Tai Yan.

The China JV kick-started with a large ISTR remediation project outside of Shanghai, China. This project is the most significant in situ thermal remediation project in the People’s Republic of China using Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) technology. This very dynamic project included in-situ and ex-situ thermal desorption technologies using ERH and TCH as well as pump and treat methodology. The project was completed and certified as a success by the Environmental Ministry of China in December 2018. The second and much larger phase of this project series is underway and is expected to be completed in late 2020.

BGE is a leader throughout Asia, integrating solid waste management, pollution prevention, and engineering services. Specializing in providing waste disposal, mining energy, coal, chemical, petrochemical, water ecology, and environmental restoration services. BGE is the premier provider of ERH technology in the People's Republic of China.

TRS China also offers Thermal Conduction Heating (TCH) technology and ex-situ thermal desorption technologies throughout the region. TRS China/Tai Yan offices are  located in Minhang District, Shanghai, China.
