TRS offers PFAS remediation services for impacted soil and water that substantially reduce your treatment costs. Our FlexHeater® thermal conduction heating (TCH) service removes up to 99.998% of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from soil, eliminating the need to landfill or incinerate large volumes of soil.

Developed by Cornelsen GmbH, TRS Group’s partner in Essen, Germany, the PerfluorAdTM technology removes PFAS from water, extending the life of your activated carbon or resin beds. PerfluorAdTM Technology

Our patented PFAS-impacted water treatment service, developed by Cornelson GmbH, TRS Group's partner in Essen, Germany. We mix the aqueous phase PFAS with a flocculent, dropping out up to 99% of the anionic PFAS.

AFFF Fire Suppression Equipment Cleanouts

The PerfluorAdTM technology is ideal for cleaning out aqueous film forming foam fire suppression systems, including pipes, hoses, valves, storage vessels and pumps, with cost savings greater than 90% compared to replacing equipment.

Thermal Desorption of PFAS in Soil

Awarded a patent in June 2020 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, TRS provides in situ and ex situ heating solutions for PFAS remediation. We apply our FlexHeater® thermal conduction heating (TCH) technology to generate soil temperatures between 300-650 degrees Celsius, volatilizing and capturing the PFAS vapors for subsequent surface treatment. Concentration reductions typically exceed 99.998%.
